Do you notice who the octopus is afraid of? A plastic bottle that will harm many fish and sea animals, as well as humans in the long run. Eventually humans will get affected by the millions of plastic waste that we throw away. So be careful, and make wise choices!!

We have the luxury of choice as humans. It is our responsibility to make environmentally conscious decisions. A safe environment that allows everyone to thrive, or a polluted environment with plastics everywhere, contaminating water, land, and air? The choice is in your hands.

It’s easy to not carry a bag and ask one plastic bag at the grocery store. But have you thought that your choice and your behaviour can create a larger and lasting impact in the environment? Make that change today!! Carry your own bag!#pollution #recycle #climatechange #noplastic

Out of sight is never out of mind. Plastic takes hundreds of years to decay and decompose. Let’s make conscious decisions to change the narrative. Avoid using plastic items as much as possible, and even if you do use it, dispose it properly. #plastic #savetheplanet #environment

India is generating about 3.5 million tonnes of plastic waste annually and the per capita plastic waste generation has almost doubled over the last five years. Let us not bag our country with waste and take better decisions! #environment #ecofriendly #pollution #recycle #sayno

We as change makers can start the change from our houses. As Barely Plastic ambassadors we encourage each one of you to take the step of making conscious decisions of managing your plastic waste properly. Be the change you wish to see around you.#sustainability #noplastic

Sharp plastics can rupture internal organs and bags can cause intestinal blockages leaving turtles unable to feed, resulting in starvation. Even if they survive, consuming plastic can make turtles unnaturally buoyant, which stunts their growth leading to slow reproduction rates.

A recent study has found that people eat five grams of micro and nano plastics every week. From the most remote depths of the ocean to the deepest section of the lung, microplastics appear to have invaded every bit of our lives. #plastic #savetheplanet #environment #ecofriendly

Plastic is both a curse and a blessing. Countries like India fall in the world’s fastest-growing regions of South Asia and SubSaharan Africa are projected to witness a much higher, three-fold rise in waste generation by 2050. We need to take actions and bring meaningful changes.

Plastics make up 80% off all marine debris — from what's floating on the surface to deep-sea sediments. The amount of plastic ending up in our oceans is sobering — by 2050, there is expected to be more plastic pollution than fish, by weight, in the ocean.#plasticpollution
