Thinking out loud. I started building @ArcTraceIo because I needed it myself. Simple as that. I was working with data a lot past few months, sometimes saw the "clear full picture" and understood, that the market lacks ready-to-use data for regular and mid-level users. Then it got bigger than I expected. What started as a personal tool turned into entity resolution, wallet clustering, risk scoring, AI-powered risk management. I realized this could be a real product — something any trader, any agent, any DEX could plug into before interacting with a token. But here's where it gets real. To build this at scale — real-time monitoring across chains, feeds, streams, proper infrastructure — you need infra that costs more than a solo dev can justify on savings. I can make the code efficient. I can squeeze everything out of free and budget tiers. But there's a floor to what good infrastructure costs, and I'm sitting right below it. I recently left my job, not because I had a plan. Because I felt like after years in this space, I owed something back. I had the skills, the experience, and the obsession — I just needed to build. Then the @Pumpfun hackathon showed up. And it clicked. The funding from this wouldn't just be prize money. It would solve the infrastructure problem entirely. Proper RPC. Geyser integration. Real-time data. Everything that separates a good demo from a production-grade public good. I have more ideas. Things I know I can build. But it's hard to think about the next thing when you don't have stability. When every month is a question mark. When you're choosing between paying for infra and paying rent. Their funding would change that. Not in a "lambo" way. In a "I can finally build without looking over my shoulder" way. The product is live. The work continues regardless. But with the right support, this goes from a solo project to infrastructure that actually matters.
