Anyone can now ask if they are on the #GangsMatrix and the Met will answer unless there is a data protection exemption We encourage anyone subject to repeated stop and search or other ‘enforcement actions’ to submit a Subject Access Request to the Met to find out

The Met has agreed to overhaul the #GangsMatrix Majority of people will be removed No one else of 'low risk' will be added Within 28 days of removing someone, Met will make sure all others they shared data with are notified that the person is not on the Matrix

The Met also conceded that there is an ‘unacceptably high rate’ of racial disproportionality in the #GangsMatrix, with the latest review showing that 80% of those named on it were Black

You can't abolish cops or prisons without abolishing the other. The higher the category of the prison the more Muslim prisoners, the more prisoners of colour, the more Black prisoners, the more neurodivergent prisoners. Even more so in the segregation units
