Today, the Sport and Physical Activity Team have been delivering 'How to cross the road safely' sessions at @Highgateacademy to 70 Foundation and Y1 pupils. Mr Potato Head came along to help! Send an email to schoolsactivetravel@barnsley.gov.uk to get your school booked in!

This morning, we are learning all about Road Safety. We are talking about how we use different parts of our body to keep ourselves safe when crossing a road. We did a great job of getting Mr Potato head ready to cross the road safely🚗🚦

We're encouraging schools to take part in @Sustrans #BigWalkandWheel, in partnership with @SchwalbeUK. Get kids active as many days as possible from 24 March- 4 April and help the school win great prizes! School registration is now open at bigwalkandwheel.org.uk

We had lots of fun this morning, learning how our eyes, ears and hands can help to keep us safe when crossing the road!

Our Bike Works team are at @churchfieldprim today, delivering a Dr Bike. This session allows for pupils bikes to be checked over, and minor fixes to be made! If your school would like to get a Dr Bike session booked in, please get in contact through the details provided.
