@BravinYuri Currently State House budget is higher than US White House budget.... And that is only what's accounted for.
Plus SHA, ECitizen, NSSF, Housing Levy...
Add privatized companies, self government contracts and tenders.
WE ARE IN THE PITS.
That's why you have to pay more taxes

State House has been allocated an additional Sh8.4 billion, subject to approval by Members of Parliament.
If approved, this single revision will push the State House budget from Sh7.7 billion to a staggering Sh16.1 billion for the 2025/26 financial year.
In simple terms, the budget for State House would more than double in the same financial year.
At a time when Kenyans are being told to tighten their belts, when new taxes and levies continue to be introduced, and when public services are struggling with funding shortages, the scale of this increase raises serious questions about priorities.
A jump of Sh8.4 billion is not a small adjustment. It is a massive expansion of spending at the very centre of power, and it now awaits the approval of MPs.
