You know what you should do? Write in whatever POV serves the story and works for you. If readers don't like it, they can read a different book in the POV that works for them.

@liu_angela People need to stop saying a poem isn't a poem if it doesn't rhyme. It's such a weird thing to get hung up on.

A Librarian Joy:
Had a patron trying to find an older scifi book. Only remembered a few slivers of detail. I emailed the MA Librarian listserv with those details.
Within 5 minutes I got the answer…and now the patron can rediscover a book they’ve been searching for for year :)

5 TIPS FOR #WRITERSBLOCK
1 Do a mindless task.
2 Take a cold shower (No seriously, it works)
3 Light exercise
4 Tell someone the story (Not for advice, just to hear how it sounds).
5 Return to the last paragraph where things felt right & go in a different direction.

I’ve reached that point in editing my novel where I’m like “Is this too repetitive or have I read this too many times in the past month?”

Spoke with my editor. She was SUPER encouraging. Gave me some feedback (nothing compared to what she's given me in the past). Overall she says my novel is ready to go! I'll tidy things up over the next week but will send out query letters mid-April!
