Today second grade worked with their partners to find and write their short i spelling words. I love students are able to use foundational skills and put them into context. #BuzzWorthy

A little late to posting these.. But this #BuzzWorthy second grade completed an Egg Drop Challenge after reading a twisted story of Humpty Dumpty! What a great way to spend the first full week of school!

These #BuzzWorthy Second Graders had fun building the strongest tower with their groups after I read Iggy Peck, Architect! We tested the towers with a blow dryer! #WorldPlayDay

We read “My Mouth is a Volcano” & squeezed out toothpaste. Students were told to put all the toothpaste back in the tube…Their response, “That’s impossible!” We learned how we can’t take our words back once we say them or get our time back when we interrupt others. #BuzzWorthy

We had 2 guest speakers today! The school guidance counselor, Ms. Lorch, talked about honestly, and my dad talked about the history of Cinco De Mayo! The students made interesting connections to previous learning and experiences as they asked and answered questions. #BuzzWorthy
