Attention razz players: I received this message from a good friend and a mixed game player. Hello Matt! Miss seeing you! Asking once again if you could talk to the powers that be to change the bring-in to the low card in RAZZ. It’s such an unfair punishment unlike ANY other game. The only reasoning I’ve ever heard to defend this is: 1. It’s always been this way. * It’s always been this way is no reason to keep it. In Stud it was ALWAYS an open pair can double bet UNTIL they CHANGED it. And . . . 2. It creates more action. * More action?! Don’t understand this logic at all. It KILLS action. At least in a tournament. You want action? Have the low card bring it in. This rule of high card bringing it in can be your tournament life. So it ends on bad luck and not skill. PLEASE help change this. I feel it’s so wrong on so many levels. Nightmare river card disqualifies 118k Bad Beat 2 @LodgePokerClub members hit straight flushes on the flop in PLO. But with the Ace on the river, the winning hand became a rivered Royal Flush, disqualifying the "flop only" bad beat. Might be the worst 1 outer in poker history

He’s been worn down from hoards of people expecting engagement from him, even following to the stalls in the restroom. So many people try to get him to invest in their enterprises, he is suspicious of random interactions.

Perfect ending to my 2024 @wsop. Yesterday walking through the back area of the Horseshoe I saw someone standing all alone… it was none other than Phil Ivey! I was so nervous. Would I say anything? If so, what would I say? As I slowly walked closer and closer with the hot Las Vegas sun beating down I decided upon the perfect thing to say. Something short yet complimentary. “Hi Phil, congratulations on winning your 11th gold bracelet this summer,” I said trying to sound as cool as possible, hoping he’d attribute the beads of sweat upon my brow to the sweltering heat and not my nervousness. “Such a special moment.” I’ll never forget what happened next. He looked up from his phone, seeming unaffected by the 110-degree weather, looked me dead in the eyes, and said… absolutely nothing. Classic Ivey! That’s a wrap on #wsop2024 folks.

I have today off since I bagged a small stack on Day 1b of the Colossus. I was highlighted in the writeup even though I have 10% of the chipleaders. They must think I'm senile at this point possibly because I was drooling on the table and couldn't find my table on the breaks.
