TOPIC #65: WHY I DO NOT BUY 1 PI FROM PIONEERS TO PROVE I SUPPORT GCV $314,159?
Q: You mentioned you support GCV at $314,159. Why don’t you use that money to buy my Pi at that price to prove you really support GCV.
A: When I read this kind of question, I can't help but laugh. It's quite amusing!
👉 First of all, I am not stupid
👉Second, Pi is not designed for sale or buying even after OM. EVEN AFTER OM, THE EXCHANGE MARKET LIST IT, THE PRICE WILL BE STABLE. AND NOW IT IS FORBIDDEN FOR BUYING AND SELLING
👉What are we actually buying or selling? We typically buy stocks, securities, or traditional cryptocurrencies and sell them for profit, right? However, Pi is not meant for that purpose; it is designed to be a currency.
Have you ever seen anyone buy RMB, CAD, or USD for profit? No, because there is no profit in that. In fact, you often incur a loss since banks offer different buying and selling rates. This is why we use terms like "convert to USD," "CAD," or "RMB." So when you need USD to pay, you actually exchange your FIAT to USD. Or it is called conversion.
So, what else do we buy and sell for profit? Some people invest in real estate, hoping to sell at a higher price if the market increases, but that comes with risks and many associated fees.
The remaining things we buy are generally not for sale, such as our own residences, cars, groceries, and appliances. If we sell them, we’re likely to incur a loss due to depreciation or amortization, as their value decreases rapidly.
👉Currently, Pi should not be viewed as a security or commodity for buying and selling for profit like securities, stocks, or traditional cryptocurrencies. Many people are active in black markets buying and selling Pi because they mistakenly believe it is a traditional cryptocurrency. They either have not read the white paper or have read it but do not believe Pi can become a true currency as stated. They expect to buy now and sell on the exchange market later for profit. This is motivation for people who want to hoard more Pi.
Since they want to buy from pioneers, they make aggressive attacks on GCV because they fear they will have to spend much more money to acquire Pi from pioneers if these pioneers understand that they hold something valuable. Thus, they try to deceive pioneers by labeling what they hold as worthless to lure them into selling.
👉However, this activity is prohibited during the enclosed mainnet phase. All such accounts will be frozen. While the CT hasn’t published the wallet list of these frozen accounts, it doesn’t mean they have not taken action. A LOT accounts have already been frozen, while others remain active in the black market have been labled already. CT just want to catch big fish.
Some pioneers ask why CT doesn’t punish them. The truth is, CT has already taken actions you might not KNOW. Those who choose to steal will ultimately suffer losses. Therefore, I advise those still engaged in the black market to stop, as you will not only lose your Pi but also your fiat currency. If right now you still do it, that means you will lose a lot of FIAT because all the FIAT you spent to gain PI will be lost. Since the Pi will be confiscated by CT. PI WILL BE legally not belong to you. I do not want to see while other pioneers celebrate their newfound wealth, you might find yourself in significant debt of FIAT and you also lose Pi. Probably there will have law suit on you because you affect the Pi Network and violate the policy.
👉Now, let’s talk about why I don’t buy your Pi. I can achieve GCV success without any investment. And I dont need to try my best to make you believe GCV. I only focus on whom would care about themselves and smart pioneers. Because they can understand well. And I do not care if you believe or not.
Some people fail to understand this. We are conducting a coinage process, which involves creating small transactions to generate more blockchain records. Even a $0.01 product can facilitate one GCV transaction. So why would I need to give you $314,159 to prove GCV? No matter bigger or smaller transaction, they are equally important.
👉 I am 100% confident that GCV has been succeed already. Not only can we generate ten millions of GCV records, but we also help businesses grow. They can still earn significant fiat currency while increasing their visibility and market presence. Pioneers don’t need to spend money to create GCV; in fact, they will save a lot of money while doing so. If we can all grasp this simple logic, GCV will be very easily adopted. Additionally, if we all become active participants, millions of businesses can join even before the OM launch. And this will make Pi Network long term prosperity.
👉I also emphasize that GCV exists to resist attempts to use Pi speculatively. I have strategies in place to thwart those who want to misuse Pi, which is why so many pioneers and merchants support Pi and GCV. This demonstrates wisdom: we can achieve success without unnecessary expenditure.
👉Just as we don’t need to buy a ton of goods to demonstrate what one ton weighs, we do not need to spend $314,159 to prove GCV. A product valued at just $0.01 can serve that purpose 1Pi=$3141,59. That’s because Pi is a currency. It is used to measure asset, product, service, laibility ,equity.
👉Currency is not for buying and selling; it’s for facilitating the exchange of goods and services. Think of it like holding a measurement tool; GCV serves as the 1 Pi measurement. If we use too small a measurement, it won't suffice for hudreds years.
👉Additionally, I’ve noticed that some cryptocurrency holders pretend to be pioneers in order to attack GCV. They are mistaken because Pi will function as a stable coin, not for speculation.
Pi will not compete with your cryptocurrencies; rather, it will provide a stable benchmark for the exchange market. Currently, we have USDT, but in the future, Pi could very well become a standard.
I would like to convey to those who hold traditional cryptocurrencies that Pi has fundamentally different characteristics than those traditional cryptocurrency. However, for those seeking an improved quality of life in the future, supporting Pi and GCV will undoubtedly facilitate a more favorable outcome no matter you are pioneers or not.

TOPIC #57: PiFEST & FIRESIDE'S MODS MESSAGE
Dear Global Pioneers, 🌹🌹🌹
I am delighted to witness the remarkable progress we are making together! Our collective confidence in the Pi Network project and CT continues to strengthen.
PiFest signifies a significant milestone, as it follows the noteworthy success of GCV. This indicates that CT recognizes the potential of GCV at $314,159 to meet the OM safety requirements.
I would like to share a meaningful story that embodies the idiom "to act in a way that defeats one’s purpose."
During the Warring States Period, a man wanted to travel to the State of Chu. He was driving a carriage on Taihang Road when he met a fellow traveler. Upon learning that the man was heading to Chu State, the traveler expressed shock and asked, "Chu State is in the south. How can you go north? When will you reach the State of Chu this way?" The man calmly replied, "It doesn’t matter; my horse can run fast, so I don’t need to worry about not reaching the State of Chu."
The traveler reminded him, "If you take this route, you’ll only get farther away from Chu State." The man pointed to his luggage and said, "I’ve brought plenty of travel expenses and food that will last many days. The distance doesn't matter." The fellow traveler, now anxious, said, "You’re going the wrong way. You can’t reach Chu State by going this route." The man responded confidently, "My driving skills are excellent, so don’t worry." Confused by the man’s stubbornness, the traveler shook his head in helplessness and sighed.
This story reminds us that when we pursue goals, it’s essential to establish the correct direction first. If you go the wrong way, no matter how good your resources or efforts, you will move further away from your desired goal.
I believe that Dr. Nicolas and Dr. Fan, who possess great wisdom, understand this logic. Their commitment to moving towards OM indicates that they acknowledge our pioneer community is on the correct path, particularly since GCV dominates almost all social media and blockchain records. If they were to deny GCV, it would be illogical, especially given that blockchain data shows there are at least 3 million GCV records representing more than 69.22% of all transactions from January to October 2024, including data from the black market. If we exclude black market data, the denominator will significantly decrease, resulting in a GCV occupancy rate of nearly 90%.
In this context of GCV's significant success, CT's plans for OM and their call for pioneers to join PiFest demonstrate their recognition that GCV is on the right track. In fact, CT's announcement claimed that the community is on the right track already. This also highlights their intention to showcase the value of Pi to the world.
So, I ask: Would it be wise for CT to pursue OM by the end of this year if GCV opposed CT's goals?
My answer is a resounding NO! They are incredibly intelligent and wise. Their doctoral degrees attest to their intelligence, and their strategic decisions throughout the Pi Network process reveal their wisdom.
Today's PiFest is an opportunity for our GCV community to demonstrate what Pi represents, thanks to our collective efforts. We should focus on sharing our progress across all social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat, Sharchat, Pinterest, VK, Baidu, LinkedIn, QQ, WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat, Kuaishou, Discord, and more. This will showcase the strength of our pioneers, ecosystem, and GCV to the world.
PiFest serves as an opportunity for CT to assess the timing for OM and identify where additional KYC processes and migrations are needed. The more active our ecosystem is with GCV, the safer it becomes to open up these regions. This is a fundamental concept: supporting low-value initiatives leads to centralization, which takes us in the wrong direction. The consequence of pursuing low-value efforts will be similar to the narrative I shared earlier—it will cause CT and all pioneers to face endless waiting. Regardless of how hard low-value supporters work, their efforts are still far from reaching CT's goals.
All pioneers should have confidence in GCV. Your role is to actively encourage more businesses to join the Pi Network. The value of the network is determined by us, the pioneers, not by CT. We can expect CT to respect our collective efforts, and they should recognize that GCV is instrumental in helping the Pi Network achieve its objectives and mission.
I understand that many pioneers felt discouraged by a comment from PiFest moderators stating, "Direction from Core Team: We need to mark/report/delete all posts in #PiFest and #PiCommerce that mention GCV $314,159."
As I’ve always stated, moderators are responsible for facilitating discussions and ensuring compliance with the CT rules. They do not serve as official sources for Pi Network announcements. The Pi Network Core Team has its official channels to inform our pioneers, so we should rely on CT announcements rather than moderators’ statements.
While we should respect Fireside Mods and the rules and regulations of the Fireside (which do not allow posts about prices), this doesn’t mean CT discriminates against GCV. All values, including GCV, should not be posted. It represents justice and ensures equality and fairness to all pioneers regarding Pi's value.
I kindly urge all GCV supporters to refrain from posting specific values like GCV or $314,159 on Fireside. Instead, I encourage you to share your regional PiFest merchant map, transaction screenshots, or visuals capturing the interactions between pioneers and merchants.
Since PiFest aims to attract more businesses to our Pi Network ecosystem as business partners, let us concentrate on promoting our initiatives across external social media while highlighting the significance of GCV.
Thank you for all pioneers attention and I hope this clarifies my message, and let’s continue our journey together with enthusiasm and our 12/12/2024 OM goal!
Sincerely,
