When I was in middle school I got a pair of heelies “ironically” but never really used them. I put them away for years and assumed I’d outgrown them, but going through old stuff recently I found them and they FIT PERFECTLY because I was a child with shoes too big

Yo i was in Manhattan last night and i was STRANDED no trains, no ubers, no taxis, no lyfts nothing at like 2am. The only way i got home was by renting a ZIP CAR and driving back. In all my years in NYC i have never experienced anything like this

I get it now. Ted and Heidi Cruz wanted their children to be safe, to have basic sanitary services like heat and running water, to leave behind a third-world apocalyptic nightmare for a safer place. Like so many parents before them, they decided to cross the Mexican border.
