Two men, aged in their twenties and thirties, have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Temple Bar in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The incident happened in the Cope Street area. The victim is being treated at Beaumont Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition. Gardaí are continuing to appeal to the public for help in identifying the man. He has a distinctive tattoo on the inside of his right forearm — a blue and white flag with the words “Ceol is Beatha”, which translates as “music is life.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.
