Well…these talks have progressed fast 👀 Saturday 🚌 it’s time to make this place feel like home 🔵⚪️ Route and time to be confirmed!

We have wanted to bring a feel of home down to Regent Road for a while now and we have been inundated with fans asking for a coach greet. Unfortunately, the players will not be arriving by coach on Saturday v Chelsea so we are unable to do one. We are currently speaking with the Club and Merseyside Police, and we’re hopeful it’s something we can make happen in the near future and finally do it for the right reasons 🔵

Our display on Monday night v Man United will be the biggest single stand flag display we have done yet. In the south stand upper and lower there will over 400 flags on display. The majority of these flags will be placed on random seats. We are kindly asking fans to help us make this display look as great as possible by waving/holding all of these flags on the night. If you don’t want to participate, that’s not an issue. Could we ask that you please pass the flag to someone who does. Please leave these flags rolled up under your seats in the upper and behind seat in front in the lower after use. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THESE FLAGS HOME! Thank you 🟦⬜️🟨⬛️

The display will be in the upper and lower south stand and you can help no matter where you sit (apart from the family section due to movement restrictions). ‼️‼️DO NOT TAKE FLAGS HOME‼️‼️ We are extremely disappointed that some fans took our flags home last night, removing them from the large wooden pole they are on and taking them with them. These were taken grown men by the way, not kids. Some of our group seen this with our own eyes from the upper so we were unable to get the flag back, we also had a friend message us saying they have one of our flags at home because they took it off a man on the way out the ground who was trying to put it in his pocket and there were quite a few poles with no flags on during the clean up. These flags cost thousands of pounds to buy. For the 2x2m flags that some have took home, they cost around £65 each to buy. This money has been donated by our brilliant generous fans to enable us to buy these flags to put on displays. They aren’t yours, our fans haven’t donated for you to take them home and put them up in your ma’s box room. We do this voluntary, as well as having full time jobs & it takes up a lot of our own time. Now we will have to spend more hours securing 100’s of flags to the poles so they can’t be removed, which will then make even more work for us should any need washing. If you want a flag with our design on, then contact us and we can give you the design and the details of the company who make them. If you’d like to return them, then bring them to the United game and leave it on a seat. Thank you 👍🏼

🟦📣 UPCOMING FLAG DISPLAYS 📣🟦 Leeds - We will be doing our first flag display under the lights. This will be a small flag display in the lower South Stand that will cover 5 blocks. Man United - We will be doing a full flag display in all blocks in the upper and lower of the south stand before our game v Man United 🔵⚪️🟡

Tomorrow will be our first flag only display at our new home as we continue to work towards more large scale displays in future. For our display to be effective, can we please ask that supporters in the middle 3 blocks of the Lower South hold up/wave these flags that will be on your seats or pass them along if you don't want to hold them yourself 👍🏼 Our display will include large waver flags: 🔵 If you can please help us, a limited number of large wavers will be available for collection from the wheelchair sections at the front of the stand that will be handed out by 1878s organisers. (please return these before kick off). After Z Cars has finished and the players head towards the goal, please roll up and store the 2 pole flags and small wavers as shown below for collection after the game. On Saturday for our first ever FA Cup game at Hill Dickinson we will be doing a small flag display in the South Stand. Our flags will be placed on random seats. If you have one on your seat can you please hold it up/wave it or pass it on to someone else if you don’t want to. There will be members of the group or staff from the club at the bottom each block that these will be placed in for you to hand them back to them once the display is over. Let’s bring our voices and make it sound and look like home 🔵⚪️🟡

Absolutely mental that a group of fame hungry fans are paying 1000s to hoist a big flag while everton advertise to help the food banks on the score board. Especially this time of year

The flag cost 1000s by their own admission, whether the club paid (I was told the club paid towards it) Or it came from individual fans, the FACT remains the money was better spent on food banks. Can't believe it's even a debate. Flag was awful
