This is to the point where I truly believe if there’s a crowd standing in a line—the existence of a purposeless line with no pay off, is advertisement enough as is for people to join. The motivator? Gossip and stories. (Language)

If you place a fictitious line in front of someone they’ll make effort to cross it. In front of you or behind you—depends on the dynamics of your relationship and the conditions of the evironment where the line is. Key ideas: authority, popularity, social temperament & influence
