(13) YELLOW SCHOOL BUSSES The Georgia Southern football team arrives to Allen E. Paulson Stadium on yellow school buses as a part of the Eagle Walk. It’s been that way since 1981. Back then, the buses were a necessity as the football program wasn’t well funded. But it stuck as tradition to this day and has become the iconic signal of game day in Statesboro.
