I mean how is this any different than Rick Pitino nudging Nelly Junior Joseph to go play for his son. Let’s say Gavin Doty ends up at Syracuse. I can GUARANTEE there will be Siena fans that take a ride out to the Dome for a game to see him play that otherwise wouldn’t have. Let’s say someone doesn’t cut it at Syracuse and they come to a crossroads of be a bench player at Cuse or be a starter in MAAC. Maybe Siena gets that guy over another MAAC school. Mid majors have become feeders for the power schools anyway. Has to be a way to leverage being a good feeder.

Siena should promote Ben Lee to head coach We should have working relationship where GMac uses Siena to get freshman/sophomores minutes with the understanding he will poach if he wants to Siena can win the MAAC with young teams + veterans that aren’t “next level talent” I honestly don’t know why more schools aren’t doing this
