@TreDub_ Yeah, my number 1 fear was to let Staff go and become the Bears. Great defense but a QB who can’t perform

@TreDub_ Yeah I feel that, I think we’ve got Chase Daniel under contract though for like $10mil a year though. Good news is if he stinks we’ll be drafting high again in 2022 where maybe another QB emerges. I do love that idea, I just think it’s not top priority based on cap at this point

@TreDub_ I don’t love Goff, but I think he’ll be serviceable. From a cap perspective we can’t afford to have him riding the pine. Between Staff dead cap and Goff we are $40mil+ for him in 2021, he’s gotta go out and earn his check. Need defensive pieces to help out.

@TreDub_ @bj__smoove @Lions I agree, I hope there is elite defense available at 7. Micah Parsons is one that would be interesting. Haven’t looked into viable options for pass rush - I think our DL is underachieving a lot because of bad coaching/scheme too
