Shit I hope this didn't come across as a "both sides are dumb I'm smart" thing I'm personally more on the side of better updates but I don't have anything against people that still like these ones

Minecraft discourse is really annoying because one side is people blindly defending every aspect about the game but the people who complain about it tend to voice their points in a very toxic and unproductive way even if the points themselves are good.

I feel like I'm yapping now but my point is that small updates aren't neccasarily the issue it's the way they're excuted. No I don't think the game needs 50 billion dimensions I just want what already exists in the game to have more depth

There's so much stuff to adress and so many ways to expand upon past and new mechanics but this game just loves adding random shit with like 1 or 2 niche uses 😭😭

@RHVGamer like there's a reason minecraft is one of the only games this consistently happens too (besides being the most popular game) it's cuz people want stuff like enchanting and the progression fixed instead of just bloating the game with Juans and more inventory clutter

@RHVGamer how is that unrelated though? People have been screaming at minecraft for ages to fix things with UPDATES and instead of doing that they just add a couple of random things that majority of the playerbase has never interacted with

@RHVGamer I think 99% of the "fandom" would be perfectly fine with having these inconsequential updates if minecraft actually adressed the issues that have been plaguing the game for over a decade now.

Like I'm pretty sure I've seen people make "potential man" images out of summer but it always just feels a lot more chill like it's just a bunch of people having fun because nobody actually takes it seriously. I wish more arguements were like that online honestly 😭

Twitter is so much more fun when people just have preschooler arguements about light hearted shit like their favorite season of the year or what color is better
