is it actually possible Baba Miller doesn't get drafted? he's deep second round on a lot of boards seems like a clear reach-for-upside guy to me i'm not getting caught up on the shooting when he's an elite athlete who can defend and knows how to pass

@JohnWillkom Generally yes which is why he shouldn't go in the lottery or something like that, but i think he's currently undervalued as a late 2nd round guy

@BaruthaAlex Modern stretch four’s have to be able to shoot the 3, though. Twenty years ago, guys with this physical profile and athletic ability were gold. Today, not so much. A bet here is a bet that he can develop that.

@TheFFScout_x i'm sure he will get drafted but big boards/mocks are notoriously unpredictable after 45 in terms of who gets drafted and who doesn't, which is why it surprises me that's where a lot of place have him

more of a focus on playing around the basket. His FTA and ORB went up.
He's just always been an inconsistent shooter. I think it's hard for some guys to both exert a ton of effort playing in the paint AND be good at shooting threes when they aren't natural shooters. His FT% at least remained stable the past 2 years

@locustlegend I think he could go in the first, but what people bring up for his weaknesses are the poor shooting and his weight (208). He's also going to almost be 23 by the time he's in the NBA. But to me that's overthinking it once we're past the lottery

@BaruthaAlex Pre combine he was ridiculously underrated yet NBA teams still saw enough value to invite him to the combine. My guess is teams are higher than him than media/twitter

@BaruthaAlex Barring any unforeseen red flags I can’t see a scenario where Baba isn’t drafted and suspect he goes top 40. Between guys staying in college and his combine hype hard to see him not being one of the 60 best prospects
