@brendan_cubs My GUESS is he is masking his pitches well enough that even when he doesn't throw it the best he gets away with it.

If I were to ask coaches one question about Edward Cabrera, I'd ask, "So what's going with his release point and mechanics?" Cabrera's release is 1.5 standard deviation units lower. And shorter extension. And then much slower perceived velo (-1.5 units). Spin axis different, movement profile different. I gotta say, I really don't know what to think here. I think I don't love it?
