Recruit NLB. Poppell is overflowing with athleticism and competitiveness. Dad played football at Florida State. Has a brother that plays baseball and football at the Citadel. Recruit NLB Tucker Poppell (2027-Maclay HS-C-OF-Switch Hitter). From a family of elite athletes. Dad played football at Florida State. Has a brother that's a running back at the Citadel and another brother that is a catcher in the San Francisco Giants organization. Poppell has above bat speed and innate timing offensively. Can catch in college but athletic enough to play center field and is a plus runner. Extraordinary competitor with winning makeup and is a great teammate. Excellent student. Priority college sign.
