Baseball Sask Rally Cap Information Nights – 2026 Season

- Majority of arm injuries in baseball occur during the ramp up phase.
- Studies suggest that nearly half of all arm injuries are from overuse (rather than acute trauma).

Ensure athletes across the province are provided necessary time to ramp up for their season and minimize arm injuries:
- Over 50% of the UCL (Tommy John) reconstruction surgeries in the USA last year were for teenagers.

In 2026 we are adjusting the pitch count rules to be enforced in games prior to June 1st. On June 1st, our existing pitch count rules will be enforced for the remainder of the season.
