The future of courts has arrived

We are heartbroken to share news of the passing of Joey Raccuia. Joey's impact on our team, this community and all the lives he touched went far beyond the playing field, and we miss him deeply.

Our Deepest Condolences goes out to the Raccuia Family. This breaks my heart. 🙏

Congratulations to Baseball U CT alumni RHP Jake Walkinshaw on his free agent signing with the Miami Marlins! Drafted by the Oakland Athletics in 2019 (36th round), Jake has continued to put in the work every single day. Last season, he was a key member of the A’s AAA roster, playing a major role in their league championship run. Jake is an endless worker, a first-class person, and someone who has remained close to the Baseball U CT family throughout his journey. He’s eager, motivated, and focused on reaching his next goal—his first MLB appearance. We couldn’t be prouder of Jake and the work ethic he brings to everything he does. BASEBALL U CT ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT We said goodbye or “so long” on Saturday to two-time World Series Champion and Baseball U CT alumnus Ben Casperius after his final workout at The Batter’s Eye with Coach Vigilio, before heading to Arizona for Spring Training. We are extremely proud of Ben. It’s always special to have him back in the area—putting in work, giving back to the organization, and staying connected to the Baseball U CT and Baseball U family.
