I have some unexpected news. There was a setback on my summit journey, and I'm now departing on 18th to reach the top by 23rd. The Khumbu Icefall's "jelly belly" which had settled, 'resurfaced', meaning I had to return to basecamp. I am not detered. I will conquer Mount Everest

💡The Summit push starts tonight! Logistics in place, Sherpas set the route. Fierce winds are challenging, but it's our time now. I've lost a lot of weight, but feeling strong. Out of communication for a week, but I will update indirectly via satellite messaging. #EverestSummit

🇬🇧Happy Coronation Weekend! 70 yrs ago, news of Everest climb relayed by runners and telegrams due to tech limits. Today, communication is easier, but we still face weather & logistics challenges. Some climbers recovering at lower altitudes! Hoping for a weather window soon!

Day 20 - 23: We conquered the Khumbu Icefall and the Western Cwm, but not without challenges. We arrived at Camp 2 exhausted, and one teammate had to be evacuated due to breathing problems. I had 2 restless nights and had to descend to Base Camp to recover.

Green light for acclimatisation rotation! Excited to climb higher on the mountain via Khumbu Icefall, stay at Camp 1 and Camp 2. If successful, we'll be ready for the summit push! Also met celebs @KillianJornet and @AldoKane! #mountaineering #summitpush

Hey everyone! We're acclimatising with short hikes and have reached the summit of Lobuche Peak. We've also had rest days, training, and a meaningful Puja ceremony. I caught the Khumbu Cough, but I'm feeling better now. Spirits are high as we prepare to climb higher. 🧗‍♀️🪜

Day 10&11 of our Everest adventure: The altitude is a challenge, and adjusting has been incredibly difficult, but feeling much better now and excited for what's to come! Yesterday was a great day. We had a successful hike and celebrated the Nepalese New Year with the Sherpas!

Yesterday marked day 7 on the trail, and now we’re at 5000m the altitude is starting to kick in. We made our way from Dingboche to Lobuche, with a quick stop at Thukla, where we passed the climbers’ memorial. Today is the day we reach Everest Base Camp! Let’s do this. #rmfamily

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter Weekend! I am now on day 6 of the trek, and we've taken a 'rest day' at Dingboche. We are currently 4410 metres up and are acclimatising well! Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse are dominating the horizon, and my end goal is getting closer!

Just wrapped up day one on the Lukla trail! 🏔️ After a crazy 4-hour drive on bumpy roads, I finally made it to Tenzing-Hillary Airport! The treehouses and trail were bustling with climbers and trekkers - what an adventure!
