A nation isn’t an idea, economic zone or a set of documents. A nation is a people and if you change the people then the nation ceases to exist.

@AHomelyHouse We need to get rid of all the rules, regulations, permits, etc. that prevent people from doing this. Some even give you minimum square footage requirements. It's insane. But I do agree we SHOULD be able to do this

I believe young people and the nation as a whole would be better served if they disregarded the housing market completely and returned to building their own micro-homestead cabins and tiny houses wherever possible. We need to recolonize this land from the commerce wilderness.

@JasonMacRaven Taking care of your family should always be the priority ❤️ I also take the unvaxed side and fear mongering with a grain of salt. Nobody I know who took the vax has had any issues so far

@Based_Morgoth Eh, I had to to keep my job. When your family depends on your income…Well, sometimes you have to compromise. I worry about the side effects, but I haven’t dropped dead yet.

The supremacy mindset of these people is actually so annoying. I won't hate on the people who felt forced because they couldn't afford to lose their jobs and subsequently their homes. They had families to take care of. Many have learned from it, and I welcome with open arms those who took the vaccine and regret it, because at least they DID open their eyes eventually. The people who were abusive and evil to the unvaccinated during COVID deserve some hate, sure. But too often lately I see the unvaccinated lording this over people, acting as insufferable as the other side. Give people grace. Recognize that if this happens again, more and more will not fall for it next time. It serves nothing but your ego to act this way.
Tracy smith@browt1971

When people say they were forced to take the experimental COVID shot. How were you forced? Where you held down against your will. No you chose to take it. Just like I chose not to! Truth hurts!!

When I was teaching at a high school in Alaska, we read Dostoyevsky's "Notes from Underground" together. Paragraph by paragraph. We spent six weeks on that one story. Here's what paragraph-by-paragraph close reading actually looks like: I'd read a passage aloud. Then I'd ask, "What is the Underground Man really saying here?" Silence at first. Then someone would venture an interpretation. Someone else would push back. Within ten minutes, they'd be arguing about human nature, about pride and spite and self-deception. People hear this and assume I was working with exceptional kids. I wasn't. I was working with kids who had never been asked to grapple with genuinely profound ideas before. In my experience, when you treat young people as capable of serious intellectual work, and take the time to train them how to read difficult texts, they learn how to do so.
