I was just thinking about this again and how many times in the series it's shown that Homelander genuinely did like Black Noir. Like it wasn't a bit or a manipulation tactic, they were just friends. 😭

@EmbBat_417 Should be noted that even if it's a mistranslation and more accurately reads as "mainland" or whatever, that's still as powerful as The Malediction if not slightly more(depends how big the Mikaboshi island is compared to Japan)
