Watched your Eritrea video. Fascinating stuff. Sometimes the world reminds us that if you truly want a digital detox, Eritrea has already done the hard work for you -no SIM internet, no ATMs, no endless scrolling. Just you, the quiet streets, those beautiful 1930s buildings, and nature doing its thing. A place where time seems to have politely refused to move on. Quite remarkable.

LIGHTS OF IMPUNITY Dear @igp_ug1, Looks like every government car and every other SUV we met on Kampala - Mbarara highway is mounted with those red and blue blinding lights of impunity and sirens. Do they all have clearance for this? Another issue is SPEEDING and RECKLESS overtaking putting the lives of other road users in danger. Did you grant all these people exclusive right of way or is it the law of the powerful in motion? Kindly help us remind these people roads are shared spaces and we need to make them safe for all. Thank you. Safe Roads Save Lives

The public is advised to disregard all social media messages claiming otherwise. The President yesterday met Mr. Girma Wake, former CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, and held discussions on aviation management among other topics.

UPDATE: Government of Uganda and Standard Chartered Uganda have signed a €641.1 million (UGX 2.747 trillion) financing agreement for infrastructure projects
