The Bashir Ahmad Foundation
@BashirFund
This Foundation is largely run by friends of @BashirAhmaad, and focusing on promoting the youths in area of #Education #CommunityServices #Media and more!

Earlier today, I chaired the flag-off of the Ramadan Relief Package supported by the Bashir Ahmad Foundation @BashirFund in my hometown, Gaya Local Government Area of Kano State. The initiative is part of our continued commitment to supporting our communities, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, a period that encourages compassion, generosity and care. As a symbolic takeoff of the program, 50 bags of rice and 10 cartons of spaghetti were handed over to the leadership of our party, APC at both the local government and ward levels. The @TeamBashirAhmad will coordinate the distribution afterwards to ensure that the relief items reach families and individuals who are most in need across our communities. I sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed to making this program possible, particularly the dedicated volunteers and community leaders who are working tirelessly to ensure that the items are distributed fairly and effectively. May Allah (SWT) accept our acts of charity, bless our communities with peace and prosperity, and grant us the opportunity to continue serving humanity.

Today, under the @BashirFund’ation and the @TeamBashirAhmad Project, we hosted an Iftar dinner for some social media users from my Local Government, Gaya, in Kano State. It was a wonderful moment of reflection and engagement as we broke our fast together and discussed ways we can continue to use social media positively to develop our community and society. May Allah accept our fasts, prayers and good deeds during this blessed month of Ramadan. Ameen!

We are visiting Sokoto Correctional Facility Every year, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, we visit correctional facilities as part of our humanitarian efforts to support inmates and facilitate the release of those convicted of minor, less hardened offences who remain in custody solely because they lack the means to pay their fines. This year, we have chosen to visit the Sokoto Correctional Facility to continue this tradition of social responsibility. However, it is important to clearly state that our intervention is strictly limited to inmates convicted of minor offences. Our support does not, and will never, extend to individuals convicted of terrorism or violent crimes that resulted in the loss of innocent lives. The objective of this initiative is to give deserving individuals a second chance, promote rehabilitation and allow them to reunite with their families during the blessed month of Ramadan, while fully respecting justice, public safety and the rule of law.
