How do you translate a gyaru-like Bulbasaur into other languages, when gyarus are just as foreign as samurais in your own culture? I'd never thought I would think about that dilemma, but... Pokopia localizers did and, somehow, managed to deliver. Both in English, and in Spanish.

No one overescopes like an indie dev. Should I cry or smile? My game’s final word count hit over 300k — roughly the 1st & 2nd Lord of the Rings books combined. Probably shouldn’t have mixed JRPG + farm-life sim, but here we are 🙃

I just finished translating something very cool, but the deadline was too tight... I think I did a good job, but it goes to show how important time is for translators. Sadly, that's not very common in videogame localisation.
