Kenyans say the cost of living is unbearable, he says ballot. Kenyans say stop police brutality and arrogance in government, he says ballot. Why is this man so obsessed with elections and winning? What do Kenyans’ daily struggles have to do with his campaign psychology? The truth is simple that elections are not a licence for leaders to ignore the public until the next vote. Citizens have a right to speak, to protest and to demand accountability in between elections. When a president answers pain with campaign language, he exposes himself and It means he is thinking more about political survival than public suffering.
