Eu achei o final do show TÃO satisfatório. Os fogos na hora da batida, ele abaixado pertinho da câmera curtindo o ritmo olhando pro telão escrito JUSTIN BIEBER enorme. Artista.
Justin was all covered up in hoodie and glasses for first half of the show but then slowly started to get comfortable & smiled often, feeling himself after, that felt like seeing the younger him who was all bubbly and enthusiastic all the time, I want to give him the longest hug
thinking about what the internet was like when justin bieber uploaded that first cover. youtube was three years old. twitter was two. instagram didn’t exist yet. tiktok wouldn’t exist for another decade. there were no “creators.” there was no creator economy. there was no algorithm feeding you a personalized slurry of content engineered to keep you scrolling for eleven more seconds. there was jus a website where people put videos, and sometimes those videos reached everyone and changed the creators life. this performance is a memorial for the internet we lost.
Not to be sappy but there were years of not knowing whether he would ever be happy again let alone on stage performing just hoping he find joy and healing even if it meant never seeing him again. Cant explain how much seeing him smile like this on stage means to me.
what’s funny in all of this is justin bieber used to come down from the rafters in angel wings made of music speakers and do full choreography and backup dancers with pyrotechnics and fake rain on stage but y’all don’t know this because you all still hated him 10-15 years ago LMAO
Bieber sang for an hour and a half no backing vocals sounding amazing. If you’re mad that he played YouTube videos for 20 minutes that made him famous while showing the difference in his vocal tone over 20 years then you weren’t a fan anyways
