Good news: The upper level of @BassLibrary will re-open tomorrow morning, Friday, Sept. 9. Consider bringing your noise blocking headphones. Workers will still be drying out and replacing sheetrock on the lower level for a few days.

@BurgieHoward In short: Yale needed a library, Gothic architecture had become Yale's style of choice, so they commissioned a library that ended up looking a lot like a Gothic church. That's the real story, but it's admittedly not a spellbinder for the tour audience.
