This isn’t going to work. Around 2” on the SW of #Amarillo. Main band woth 7” plus missed us by around 30-40 miles. On one hand was disappointed like many, but then I shoveled the snow and suddenly felt better about it. #phwx

Weird stuff in the evening sky west of #amarillo at 819 pm. It moved along an arc down below the horizon in a couple minutes. Anyone else see this @NWSAmarillo?

Just another typical April day in the Texas Panhandle. This is the SW side of #Amarillo at 10 am. There is a road about 1/2 mile beyond the stop sign that is obscured by the snow. #phwx

Tissues falling from the sky at 11 am in southwest Amarillo as another system seems to be maxing its potential. Not much accumulation. We never turn down moisture in February, given the alternative here with these systems, which of course is fire. @NWSAmarillo #phwx

My son took these videos on our drive back to SW #Amarillo on I-40 around noon after school was dismissed. Great job by @TxDOT on I-40, but best bet remains not getting out in this if you can help it. Access roads and secondary roads were pretty treacherous. @NWSAmarillo #phwx

Here is a look at what was going on in the mesoscale band of heavy snow across Bushland around 1135 am. 1/4 mile visibility & bad roads. several vehicles were spun out into ditches from W Amarillo to Bushland. Also cars were getting stuck on unplowed roads. @NWSAmarillo #phwx
