@returnofswagnft Honestly it’s coming eventually, but near-term threat feels exaggerated, still worth preparing early now

Quantum computing used to feel like something far off in the future, but it’s starting to look like a real security issue for blockchain sooner than many expected.
Even Coinbase’s Quantum Advisory Council recently put out a report saying the industry should start preparing now, not later when it becomes a crisis.
That’s part of why projects like @quipnetwork are getting attention.
They’re working on combining quantum and classical computing with post-quantum encryption built in from the ground up, aiming to protect wallets, smart contracts, and entire networks before “Q-day” ever arrives.
And tomorrow in Las Vegas, their CTO @rcarback will be speaking alongside folks from Blockstream, Project Eleven, and Blockware at the BitGo High Roller Summit.
The big question on the table: is quantum computing a real near-term threat to crypto security, or is it still overhyped?

English

@returnofswagnft @quipnetwork People are already worried about the future while still not fully understanding the presence. The real question is are we solving a real problem or creating a new layer of Independence?

Have you ever thought about how scary it is that one day quantum computers could just crack all our regular crypto and mess up everything we hold onchain?
@quipnetwork is actually making it pretty easy and safe to protect your stuff before that happens.
No weird migrations or risky bridges needed.
You just start with whatever you already have: your normal crypto, those yield tokens, or any onchain asset you're holding.
You drop it into their QUIP Vault…
It’s like a really strong digital safe they call the Quantum Unit Interlock Pathway.
This thing wraps your asset with post-quantum stuff like WOTS+ signatures so even future quantum computers can't break in.
Your ownership stays totally clear and legit.
Then their Interlock layer handles the rest:
It adds encryption, rules, and connections so your protected asset works smoothly on EVM chains, Solana, or pretty much anywhere…
No bridges or oracles screwing things up.
Super easy flow: connect your regular wallet, deposit, and that's it…
Your asset is now quantum-resistant.
What you end up with is the Secured QUIP.
It still gives you all the same yield and utility, but now it's liquid, you can trade it in DeFi, and it's properly protected.
If you get in early, you even earn some QUIP token rewards that go toward their airdrop.
In simple terms, it's turning everyday onchain assets into future-proof, quantum-secure ones.
That's how they're building the next level of DeFi with @quipnetwork.
Their testnet is already running with over 13,000 people.
They built it with input from D-Wave (the quantum computing guys), and you can actually join in on real optimization challenges using just your CPU, GPU, or even quantum hardware if you have access.
Quantum threats aren't some far-off movie thing anymore.
Might be a good idea to wrap your assets early, you know?

You know what I like about @quipnetwork?
They just keep it real.
HotelTonight didn’t try to reinvent the hotel industry.
They simply looked at all those empty rooms sitting around and said, “Why not let people who need a place tonight actually use them?” No fancy slogans, no overpromising. Just matching supply with demand and cutting out the waste.
Quip is doing the exact same thing, except with quantum computers.
These machines cost a fortune to build and run, yet a lot of the time they’re sitting there half-idle in labs and data centers.
Meanwhile, builders, researchers, and institutions who actually need serious compute power are stuck waiting or paying through the nose.
Quip’s approach is straightforward: make that excess capacity available to the people who can put it to good use.
No gatekeepers, no unnecessary bureaucracy… Just turning idle resources into something productive.
In a space full of hype and sci-fi talk, this feels refreshingly practical. It’s not about chasing the next buzzword.
It’s about spotting real inefficiency and fixing it the old-fashioned way… By letting the market work.
When idle assets get put to work, the owners win, the users win, and the whole ecosystem moves forward. Simple as that.
Respect to the Quip team for keeping it grounded while working on something as cutting-edge as quantum.
That’s how real progress actually happens.
Everyone actually does win.
Think fast.
Think together! $Quip!
Quip Network@quipnetwork
What does HotelTonight have in common with Quip Network? They make excess hotel rooms available to travelers. We make excess quantum compute available to builders, researchers, and institutions. We both put idle capacity to work. Everyone wins.
English

@returnofswagnft @quipnetwork Really like how Quip keeps things honest, turning idle quantum capacity into opportunity, helping builders access power without friction extra.
English

@returnofswagnft @quipnetwork Really interesting seeing simplicity win here If it scales globally this could change how people think about node networks forever

Something cool is happening with @quipnetwork and I can't stop thinking about it.
They didn't make a big deal out of it.
No flashy graphics, no long hype thread.
Just a simple post saying their testnet is live...
And boom over 120+ nodes already live.
A straightforward desktop app that works on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
Literally one click and you're running a node.
No fancy hardware needed, no headaches.
On the surface it feels pretty ordinary.
But that's the part that's actually impressive.
Everyone else is still out here arguing about who has the most powerful quantum machines or the biggest team.
Quip just quietly made it possible for normal people with regular laptops to jump in and help build the network.
It doesn't feel like they're chasing hype or farming points.
It feels like they're actually building something real.
By 2026 a lot of us are still stuck in that old mindset… Thinking infrastructure has to be complicated and exclusive to be valuable.
@quipnetwork is showing a different path: the winning network might just be the one that's stupidly easy for anyone to join.
The game is slowly changing.
It's not about "only the biggest players get to build this." It's becoming "the more people who can run a node, the stronger we all get."
And they're not sitting around waiting for the perfect time.
They're shipping it right now, while most projects are still just talking about the future.

English

@returnofswagnft This approach is smart. Preparing now for quantum threats ensures crypto infrastructure stays secure and functional long term.

You know how everyone in crypto is grinding to fix today's problems…
Faster transactions, cheaper fees, better UX?
Meanwhile, there's this quiet storm coming that could break almost everything we’ve built.
Quantum computers aren’t sci-fi anymore.
They’re getting real, fast.
And when they hit a certain point, a lot of today’s encryption is basically toast.
That’s why I’ve been paying attention to what @quipnetwork are doing.
Instead of just patching the holes when the panic starts, they’re building the layer that’s actually ready for it.
The cool part?
You don’t have to throw away your current wallet or start over.
You just upgrade it into a quantum-resistant account.
Same ecosystem, same assets, now with serious future-proof security.
But they’re not stopping at defense.
They’re also creating a marketplace where anyone can contribute quantum or classical compute power.
You throw in your hardware, help run heavy computations (stuff classical computers struggle with), and earn rewards for it.
Logistics, drug discovery, AI optimization.
Real problems that need serious muscle.
So it’s not just “protect your bags from quantum attacks.”
It’s building an actual decentralized network for the next era of computing.
Most projects are still reacting.
Quip feels like they’re one step ahead, quietly getting infrastructure ready for when the rules change.
Stop wondering what happens when today’s crypto security meets tomorrow’s quantum reality…
This is one of the teams actually answering that question.
$Quip @quipnetwork 🥶

English

@returnofswagnft Honestly this hits, staying focused through noise is rare. Respect the dedication and steady effort, that's what builds something meaningful.

Shortcuts and hype come and go.
Real contribution to the shared quantum network is what actually lasts.
The market can swing all it wants,
but real conviction doesn’t budge.
I’m still quipping,
heads down, putting in the work,
building something solid day after day.
This isn’t just some passing involvement.
It’s the kind of commitment that keeps growing over time.
Shoutout to the team making it happen.
@quipnetwork

English

@returnofswagnft @wallchain Yeah this feels refreshing, simple open systems tend to scale better long term
English
Bass-boy L.A⭐ retweetledi

Instead of locking everything in, @wallchain is growing by being super easy to plug into.
It sits in the middle handling attention, settlements, and coordination without trapping users or liquidity.
No heavy control… Just clean, open infrastructure that fits naturally.
This chill approach is rare in crypto but feels like solid traditional finance.
As creators seek real influence measurement without hassle, @wallchain makes sense.
It skips hype for durability and smooth integration
The quiet way real adoption happens.

English

@returnofswagnft @quipnetwork This is awesome! Making quantum computing accessible and collaborative could really accelerate innovation. Finally breaking it out of exclusive lab spaces.
English
Bass-boy L.A⭐ retweetledi

One thing I really like about @quipnetwork is how they're turning quantum computing into something you can actually share and tap into, without needing your own million-dollar machine.
It's like building a decentralized network where people can access or contribute quantum power easily, all onchain.
That practical, no-gatekeeping approach is what I think will finally help quantum tech move out of the labs and into everyday use!

𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫.
Most blockchains?
They’re still stuck with old-school pipes and isolated tanks that won’t hold up when quantum hits.
@quipnetwork feels different…
It’s like a shared quantum-classical network raining compute down everywhere at once.
No crazy bridges, no waiting for rare hardware, no single points of failure.
It works through smart design ⤵
A hybrid quantum-classical blockchain where quantum processors and regular CPUs/GPUs actually work together natively.
Real composability for tough optimization problems, AI workloads, and more.
$QUIP isn’t just another token you trade.
It’s the incentive that rewards anyone contributing compute…
Whether you’re running a quantum machine or a GPU…
Pushing power exactly where it’s needed most.
This isn’t blockchain doing the same old infrastructure thing.
This is blockchain stepping into the quantum era.
A bit mind-bending for some.
But totally inevitable for the rest of us.

English

@returnofswagnft @quipnetwork This is really exciting! Using quantum for hard problems while saving energy sounds like the future of efficient computing.
English
Bass-boy L.A⭐ retweetledi

People say quantum computing guzzles power, but @quipnetwork is making it way smarter.
On their testnet with D-Wave’s Advantage2 systems, it’s crushing tough optimization problems delivering better results while using way less energy than big GPU setups.
Over 13,000 folks are already in there, mixing quantum for the tricky bits and regular hardware for the rest.
It’s creating a greener decentralized compute network, plus easy post-quantum protection for your wallets.
The flywheel’s picking up speed.

English

@returnofswagnft Completely agree! Nasun’s focus on scalable infrastructure, AI, gaming, and on-chain coordination is exactly what DeFi desperately needs.
English

Nasun is forcing DeFi to actually level up.
Once you bring in real AI, gaming, and onchain coordination, the usual hype and shortcuts stop cutting it.
You suddenly need proper infrastructure, seamless composability, and a base layer that can actually scale across finance, intelligence, and entertainment… all at once.
That’s exactly the hard problem @Nasun_io is going after. They’re building a Move-based L1 from the ground up, instead of just chasing trendy features on top of broken foundations.
If Web3 wants to move past pure speculation and actually build coordinated, utility-driven ecosystems that last, this is the kind of direction we need.
