@BateMasterman @danjevans750 @FUDdaily Fear not, they're also hiking benefits. No cheap vote left behind.
English

@Mist0017 @PolitlcsUK If you want more pay, you need more skills. The best place to get skills is on the job. Now you won’t get a job because it’s more expensive. No skills. Oops.
English

@PolitlcsUK If employers gave employees what they were worth instead of trying to pay them peanuts, there would be no need for minimum wage. It's entirely down to the employers that this is happening, nobody else.
English

@PolitlcsUK You forgot to mention the part about higher prices and more unemployment.
English

@retronana22 @AcademicAgent_X A pity she was ousted. The damage would have been massive overall, but the country could actually heal somewhat.
English

@MUFCRyam @BaileyStan12 @AlexPemOfficial @FUDdaily Capitalism drives prices down under normal circumstances. Certain supply shocks can cause temporary rises. Almost all cost increases can be traced back to the government’s fiscal and regulatory policies. Capitalism on its own wouldn’t do that apart from with Veblen goods.
English

@BaileyStan12 @AlexPemOfficial @FUDdaily unfortunately the last 40 years have shown that propaganda to be false. companies dont give a shit and will increase prices without provocation, at least wages rises gives some money to workers
English

@danjevans750 @SSSandy21 @FUDdaily Can’t improve your life if you don’t get a job in the first place.
English

@SSSandy21 @FUDdaily And more importantly helps young working people to improve their lives

@Hectoronacid @ClarkeMicah The amount of daylight is not a function of altering the clocks, but of the Earth tilting on its axis as it revolves around the sun throughout the year.
English

@ClarkeMicah With respect, I agree with you about Letby, Iran and MANY other things.
But when it comes to the clocks, you come across as a fanatic.
It's easier to change the clocks than people's habits and the more daylight there is during working hours the better.
End of.
English

@stellacreasy Keeping you from working is probably the most patriotic thing anyone can do. Zero action is preferable to malign action.

Sorry Walthamstow- am trying to get to my office but am afraid the entrance is blocked by this lot …to be clear, they aren’t constituents and they aren’t telling the truth either…and they won’t intimidate me either but hope you will bear with us for the disruption they cause to me and my staff!

@reddyac @jerseyh0mo He couldn’t join a zoom meeting and got the IT man to help.
English

@jerseyh0mo I completely understand but we also need to see what happened before the video. What lead up to this?
English

He doesn’t even treat the IT worker like a human being. These are the people we’re supposed to trust to deliver a fair verdict?
Crime Net@TRIGGERHAPPYV1
Watch this IT guy handle a tech issue in a courtroom just for the judge to turn on him and threaten his job
English

@US_bandit732 @LeadingReport Maybe the GOP should try delivering something for the base.
English

@LeadingReport Conservatives just don’t get out and vote in these elections. Yall gotta do better and get off your asses
English

@blacknredtext @Epicartworks For me it has to be the Fable games.
English

@BareLeft The reason HS2 is expensive is because that’s the whole point. How else can *insert* Minister X line the pockets of their friends if they actually finished the job?
English

Part of the reason why HS2 has been so expensive is because of extensive Treasury meddling like this. I'm going fucking insane.
FT UK Politics@ftukpolitics
Ministers set to order HS2 to consider slower trains to save billions ft.trib.al/Zoi36KX
English

@MEslamdoust Risk of falling behind China? That happened decades ago, lmfao.
English

These HS2 changes risk leaving Britain stuck in the slow lane falling behind not just Europe, but China. A modern, growing economy needs reliable high-speed rail. Scaling back now undermines growth and contradicts the government’s own priorities. We need investment not retreat!

@BurtReddington @TheArtOfWar6 Notice how you’re arguing against a point that was never made? I never said he was doing anything correctly, only that removing the band before you start is poor advice that will damage your cigar.
English

@BateMasterman @TheArtOfWar6 Ok child, do what you'd like. You can clearly see what's happening in the video, but sure, pretend he's doing the right thing.
"Casual" indeed.
English

@BurtReddington @TheArtOfWar6 Clueless casual. If you remove the band before you smoke, you’ll end up damaging the wrapper. You remove it when you get near as the heat will loosen the glue and make it easy to take off.
English

@TheArtOfWar6 No, he just left the wrapper on it, which is a poverty coded move. "look at my fancy cigar brand please think I'm rich". It means he's a douchebag.
Always remove the label before you smoke.
English

@CenGinLondon @btharris93 The only good policy here is not joining the Israeli effort to overthrow the Iranian government.
English

@btharris93 Raising the min wage. Making childcare affordable. Building 1.5m homes. Renter's reform. Leasehold reform. Not joining the Iran war. Improving workers rights.
English

@InstantAIPrompt @btharris93 Didn’t you mean 90% of CS jobs?
English

@btharris93 One of the lowest pensions in the developed world. How about we completely cutting foreign aid? Why don’t we try that first? And then cut 10% of civil servant jobs.
English

@jedirich_ @nappycooter @Bellagio Lived there as a kid and visited multiple times before and after moving. I remember it being very cheap indeed. Great value back then. It all went tits up in 2008 and was never the same since.
English

@nappycooter @Bellagio That’s kind of the point.
Vegas has never been the “cheap” option, it’s the premium one.
There are still plenty of affordable places in Vegas… just not the center Strip.
English

Sure… Vegas is “dead.”
Meanwhile, inside the Bellagio Conservatory — packed every day.
Here’s the reality people don’t want to admit:
Vegas didn’t die… it filtered.
Post-Covid, they let anyone in just to survive.
Cheap rooms, chaos, TikTok fights, people crying about $20 water in the desert.
Now? That era’s over.
Prices went up.
Vibe cleaned up.
And the people who can actually afford to be here showed back up.
If you think Vegas is dead…
you’re probably just not the target customer anymore.
And judging by the crowds —
they’re perfectly fine with that.
