Finnish President Alexander Stubb is advocating sending so called European “peacekeepers” to #Ukraine. And Stubb said, “It doesn’t matter if Russia is against the proposed security guarantees - because Russia has no say in the sovereign decisions of an independent nation state.”
If that had been Khrushchev’s response to JFK during the October 1962 Cuban missile crises - that the U.S. had “no say in the sovereign decisions of Cuba and Russia,” there’s a chance none of us would be here today.
Once again, Vladimir Putin warned of the “extreme danger” of the geopolitical situation. “There should be no doubt,” he said, “that Russia is capable of responding not with words, but through the application of military-technical measures.”
Alexnder Stubb is taking formerly neutral #Finland into the losing, unwinnable war on the Russian steppes. Heedless of Obama’s warning that in its own neighborhood, Russia enjoys “escalatory supremacy,” Stubb and his European partners appear to be sleepwalking into war with battle-ready Russia.

The Clinton admin and every admin since have attempted to expand NATO, destabilize Russia. (Obama toppled the democratically elected government in Kiev in 2014, and Trump was first to provide lethal weapons).
After four years of war in #Ukraine, however, it doesn’t require a room temperature IQ to know that Russia is winning the economic war and won’t stop the grinding, slow war of attrition until Ukraine surrenders.
