Israeli activist Alon-Lee Green was arrested after police moved in on an anti-war protest in Tel Aviv, detaining multiple demonstrators as officers forcibly dispersed the gathering. Following the arrests, protesters were left on buses when air raid sirens sounded. Police refused to allow those detained to enter nearby shelters, leaving them trapped on a bus in the street and creating tense scenes as protesters begged. Rights groups and activists say arrests, dispersals and police force are increasingly being used to shut down protests opposing the war and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, as public dissent continues to grow.
