61. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition (Xbox Series X) Time Played 55 Hours I played as an Infiltrator this time and I quite enjoyed it, though since this was my first playthrough on Xbox I didn’t have access to any bonus talents, so I could tell whenever I switched over to Assault Rifles when my Sniper or Pistol overheated how little damage I was doing. This is also my first time going through the series as a Colonist with FemShep (combined with Sole Survivor bc that’s my favorite background for Shepard) and that exclusive side quest for Colonists “I Remember Me” paired with Jennifer Hale’s voice acting was just unreal. Realistically it should’ve taken me under 50 hours but with me taking my time and the amount of times I died on the hardest difficulty (which wasn’t that bad tbh as long as I picked the right squadmates) it took a bit longer than I expected. I’m not gonna jump in to Mass Effect 2 right away bc I want to read Ascension and some comics that take place in between the first and second game and there’s also other games I wanna play so it’ll probably be a while before I start my replay of ME2.

60. Mass Effect: Bring Down the Sky (Xbox Series X) Time Played 1 Hour 40 Minutes I like doing this DLC as the last thing after I’ve wrapped up all the assignments before tackling Virmire and the endgame, it just makes the most sense imo. I really like this mission and this being the series’ first appearance of the Batarians left quite an impression and means even more of your Shepard is a Colonist (which this playthrough I decided to be). The choice at the end to let Balak go or sacrifice the hostages is always a tough one and honestly one of the tougher choices in the first game.
