@mariekheath I stuck with my yahoo account since way back when & never made the switch. Now I have 2 Outlook accounts for school, which are enough accounts to keep track of; otherwise, I was thinking about researching a protonmail account. #nogogoogle

@misshahnteach I can see how not tracking my searches could prevent creating an echo chamber, but their algorithms are still created by programmers that can't help their implicit bias #nogogoogle

A3: Although I've heard of racist & sexist bias in their search results, I have not experienced them myself. I'm wondering, though, if switching to a private search engine really addresses that bias. Wouldn't their algorithms be similarly biased? #nogogoogle

#nogogoogle I added DuckDuckGo extension to Chrome, so I'm using that instead. That or ekoru's extension. Haven't noticed a difference.
