I think a lot of non-educators actually have no idea how unkind students can be + how much of an emotional load it is to respond to/redirect/reteach inappropriate behavior.

"But I don't speak Spanish." can no longer be an accepted reason many Ts are not equitably educating English Learners/Heritage Spanish Speakers in classrooms. A good T speaks Educator = expertise on differentiated instruction,data use,a safe place to learn etc. #BELIEVE_Cafe☕️
