@Nintendeal Symmetrical. On asymmetrical it's awkward to use left stick & dpad at the same time: you need to take off your thumb from the stick. But on symmetrical you can just use your index finger for dpad & keep your thumb on the stick. Some ppl don't like the feel, but that's subjective.

@AnbilM2 For me M2's worst move is definitely f smash. Outside of disable punish it doesn't have many use cases (d smash overshadows f smash in many if not most situations). I personally get way more use out of up tilt. F smash is still a solid move tho, but it's the worst in M2's kit imo

@Slyikyu Hit training mode & practice whatever combo or tech you wanna learn, then try to apply your practice in actual games. If necessary fish for the combo or tech you wanna learn until you're more comfortable & consistent so that you start doing it naturally. That's how I did it

@JasonRusty1 If you mean staged, no it's not staged or faked in any way. These are real games against real people on quickplay or arena.

@Jaronimoe4 No no, I think Mewtwo has really good neutral (shadow ball alone is so valuable in neutral). So I think I would place his neutral closer to advantage than you do. It's defenitely his disadvantage that's holding him back, especially how light and big he is.

@Baum_M2 Do you think his neutral is worse than disadvantage? Imo this is how his states shake out Adv>>>>>neutral>>disadv I think he’s underrated in general. It’ll always be tough, but I feel like if someone “cracks the code” with him he’ll shoot up. Like GnW did

@Jaronimoe4 Actually think M2's disadvantage is kinda underrated. Big & light is a terrible combo, but he has some good tools in disadvantage that people just skip over like the best teleport in the game, decent combo breaker with fair, & an amazing recovery. Not saying it's good tho lul

@Willberfollower When I said many if not most were true I was excluding stuff that obviously can't be true like people missing techs or clips that aren't even combos. I was more talking about everything around that. So yeah I stand by what I said under these stipulations

@Baum_M2 1 was cool but not a combo, 2 is on a heavy so maybe true but idk about on a frame 1 escape, 3 you can see mythras side b start, 4 gannon can tech the foot stool, 5 is the same as 2 i dont think its true with a frame 1 escape. inkling is true. but then 7 isnt. some stuff is.

@mrcactusman69 Bit of both. Depends on the stage and the situation. If you wanna learn the set ups, just search for "Mewtwo teleport cancel" or something like that on Youtube, there are some good guides out there that helped me too.
