I’m late but pretty clear and sensible why Eldridge was optioned. His K rate facing big league pitching is quite bad. Getting more 1B reps in the minors will only help long term. He’s still just 21. Not concerned. #SFGiants

Niners WR room looks much more reliable. Evans essentially signed for a discount and Kirk is a nice depth guy with a track record. Still wouldn't hate a WR in Round 1.

@MylesRinSF Yeah. They signed a guard and a swing tackle for depth. Just never gonna spend real money at those position. Philosophically they don’t believe in it until Trent is gone.
