idk why but the start times of these NCAA Tournament games piss me off. You had ALL DAY to space the games out but instead you choose to have multiple games on at once? Disgusting.

I know coaches want to “move up”. I understand the profession. I get it. They have families. Blah, blah, blah. But Charleston is different to me. Everything is in place for it to be the best mid-major in the country. Facilities, campus, student support, location. I keep telling people: Charleston should be a mid-major Duke. Pat Kelsey showed what that program could be. The people in charge of making decisions at Charleston need to find someone who wants to plant roots and create a lasting legacy.

I hope most alumni don’t confuse donating with season tickets or merchandise. Yes, there is a Bulls Club donation associated with some season tickets, but what sets larger programs apart is the donor base that gives purely out of support and not for anything in return. Want a fan fest…Why don’t the alumni associations fund it? We can’t expect the school to operate like a Blue Blood program unless they have a similar budget. We, as fans and alumni, need to step up too. Which I admit is unfair when we could just be fans of a normal sport that doesn’t require the same financial commitment

Well stated, Darrien! It is a conversation my wife and I had had many times over the years as we raise our kids and balance our budget as a family. I argue that the % of our budget being spent on our season tickets in multiple sports, gear, swag, decorations, tail gating, travel and more is much higher than the % of budget for the large donors. Therefore, small donors risk more than major donors as a % of their budget. One day I hope I am blessed enough to be a large donor. But the ROI over the last 10 years has really decreased. Fan fests scrapped. Field access diminished. Meet and greets limited. These were things that gave tremendous value to season ticket holders. Meeting and interacting with the student athletes who benefit from our donations made it feel like our money mattered. You cared more about the games. You felt more passionate. There is a disconnect today. And with less quality opponents, high coach and player turnover, higher costs for the same tickets year over year, and less fan involvement I predict a breaking point is being reached. School pride can only go so far. Hopefully, with our new CEO of Athletics, @RHiggins_USF and his team will listen and make the fan experience greater. Revive the fan fests. Give more exclusive access to ALL season ticket holders. Perhaps if athletes and coaches felt more connected to the fan base perhaps they will feel more loyalty to stay. Loyalty is a two way street.

We need a HC who we can build a statue of, not someone looking to cash a check in the shadow of another man’s statue

I won’t comment on much. But want you all to understand, USF fan base was the only fanbase there; and it was amazing. The comment was in regards to the overall attendance at the event. I appreciate each and every person that made that trip. Sorry if you felt offended; it was more a shot at the rest of the teams in the conference who had nobody attend. This was important for me to comment on, because I loved our amazing fanbase. You can’t be upset with me. But I will always love south florida.

Grateful for the work he put in, but I think Coach H is really missing an opportunity to build something great here. Running off two a middling program after 1 year isn’t what we’re looking for. We need a guy who’s confident in his ability to build a top tier program and grow with USF

Can someone explain why, after playing each team in your conference, home & away, teams then need to play in a conference tournament to determine who goes to play in another tournament (March Madness)? Why doesn't regular season count? 🤔🏀
