We would like to express our gratitude to all the members of our team for their exceptional contributions!

The process of performance improvement involves identifying trauma patients who arrive to our facility and assessing/enhancing the multidisciplinary process of care. We extend our gratitude to our PI team for their invaluable contributions.

The APP team is made up of two nurse practitioners and two physician assistants, who bring diverse perspectives and ensure continuity of care!

Our faculty is comprised of 8 exceptional Trauma Attendings , each with remarkable expertise, and bringing their distinct viewpoints to enhance patient care!

Dr. Tovy Kamine, MD, FACS, published Feasibility and Acceptance of a Tele-Trauma Surgery Consult Service to Rural and Community Hospitals: A Pilot Study in @acsJACS showing that unnecessary transfers and ED visits can be avoided with a tele-trauma consultation service.

Dr. Tovy Kamine, MD, FACS published Optimal Timing of Cholecystectomy for Acute Cholecystitis: A Retrospective Cohort Study, showing that cholecystectomy in less than 24 hours for Acute Cholecystitis was associated with less cost, shorter hospital stay, and fewer complications.
