Many will call themselves a chosen one. Many will crave the journey of a chosen one, the language of destiny, the symbolism of being set apart. Few are willing to journey into the depths of what that path actually asks of you. Few are willing to meet the parts of themselves that must be stripped, softened, and made honest along the way. The title sounds powerful, but the process is quiet, humbling, and often lonely. The path itself is not about being elevated above others. It is about being asked to carry more truth within yourself. The things you’ve been through, the obstacles you’ve faced, the inner battles you’ve walked through, would overwhelm most people if they met them all at once. You’ve faced layers of fear, loss, doubt, grief, and disorientation that forced you to shed identities that once kept you safe. You’ve walked through seasons where everything familiar fell away, where certainty dissolved, where you had to learn how to stand without props, roles, or spiritual performance. What you endured reshaped your nervous system, your heart, and your relationship with God. You’ve gone through initiations, activations, and anointings in the sense that life kept asking you to become more honest, more grounded, more embodied in who you truly are. Each initiation came with a form of death, not of the body, but of the false selves you outgrew. You’ve died many symbolic deaths to be reborn into deeper authenticity, each time shedding another layer of who you thought you had to be in order to be worthy, loved, or safe. What remains now is not the identity of someone chosen above others, but the embodiment of someone who chose truth again and again. Someone who chose to keep their heart open, their feet on the ground, and their life aligned with God even when it cost comfort, certainty, and belonging. That is the depth of the journey. Not the story of being chosen, but the quiet devotion of becoming real.
