Usa team has been out of sorts hitting the whole tournament. Teams like DR, Venezuela, Mexico have swung the bat better for sure. The Latin players play a lot more winter ball. I think that gives them a little bit of an edge because they are not in “spring training form “. No excuses – it is what it is.

It’s starting to be very easy to identify the players who played on teams whose main identity was pressing when they were younger - their early formative development years focused nothing on the actual game of basketball and its fundamentals and basic knowledge.
