As 2026 begins I am excited to announce my retirement after 34 years of providing occupational therapy, assistive technology, and special education leadership services in public schools. I now hope to use my experience to support others to use data driven services for children.

Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants make huge impacts every day because occupation in its true science is a core to human wellbeing. Today I celebrate the OT staff @TomballISD who make a difference everyday in the lives of very special children.

Parents know their children better than anyone.  School choice will give every Texas family the FREEDOM to decide which educational path is best for their child. By passing school choice, Texas will help our students unlock their full potential and achieve success.

Hearing of Scott Gilhousen’s passing brings heart felt sadness for the loss of a highly gifted man who impacted the lives of many children. A quiet and principled leader who led a fully inclusive technology innovation in uncharted times. God has called home His humble servant.
