“Mm. Looks inviting.” Frieren gently got off the horse, patting its side before moving to the porch. She’d sit in one of its chairs, and the comfort was extraordinary. She could fall asleep here.

“You’re doing well enough.” She’d stop writing in her book, reaching down and petting the steed. She had such a fondness towards horses “Where are we going?”

“I’d hope you are not. You do not come across as one, however. Demons are very easy to make out. They try hard to mimic the expressions and speech of humans, but they fail to act like them.” She writes a bit more in her book, occasionally looking up

“Ah. Eternal Youth. You are an immortal …I suppose that gives us more time to fully understand one another.” She pulls out a book and begins to write in it “What is it that drew your attention to me?”
