Since I wasn’t clear enough let me re phrase it so it becomes a bit easier on everyone: I MADE A MISTAKE and i didnt add to the rules that videos on the sets could only be added 24h after the set. A rule thats been common practice in MOST tournaments. I repeat it was MY mistake to not add it initially but i didnt think id be an issue, it was, i added the rule. While i know some people are not okay with a change mid event, its not the first time it happens and it wont be the last im sure. Tournament hosts are humans and as such we make mistakes, unfortunately things cant be perfect 24/7. Now a few clarifications: people who stream on YouTube (mostly latam community) you’re not affected by this since the video that’s produced on YouTube by casting there is the equivalent of a VOD, not an edited extra video so you’re good, you can cast. A lot of people thought my rule meant you couldn’t cast at all and thats just incorrect, by all means do so. On another note, this wasnt a direct “attack” to any content creator as ive seen some people who want to start drama say o spread around. I simply thought it was a common sense, common practice behavior that we adopt every event to give the host the advantage to reward the efforts of setting up an event. I have 0 problems/ hard feelings/ negative emotions towards any content creators, i simply wanted to host my event the same everyone else does but of course as a less experienced host i am bound to make more mistakes, instead of launching personal attacks, come to my chat and be toxic or encourage toxicity you can simply approach me and have a conversation or accept that if certain standards are okay for some hosts they should be okay for all. People who come at me saying BUT I WANNA WATCH X PERSONS CONTENT! By all means, you can watch their VODs, just roll back their streams, YouTube is not necessary for that means, so please lets not act like im completely forcing anyone’s hand into watching my content and my content only because that’s simply not true. Lastly i want to apologize for not having consider the possibility of this happening from the start of the event and causing confusion but i am very disappointed that i got very little benefit of the doubt and got put into blast before being approached right away to clarify any doubts. To end it in a positive note because i am loving the event and im super grateful for having the opportunity to host my own events i wanna thank everyone who supports me or your favorite content creator watching this event and for all the great games, the players are absolutely delivering. I hope you all have a nice week and if anyone has any further questions just ask me, im an approachable person and i dont mind replying to anyone’s questions. Thanks.
