@JamesThrot @MacItSo Many of the earliest infected are already dead or dying with Frontal Temporal Dementia & Alzheimer's. Increased aggressive violent behavior & early deaths due to all kinds of Covid related dementia, autoimmune diseases heart & organ failure & cancers 😷 Clean Air 🌏

@MacItSo Subtle changes over long periods of time aren’t so noticeable. Covid didn’t infect the majority until the latter half of 2022 anyway. So we’ve only had 2 years of prolific infection. It’s early days in the grand scheme of things. But for me, I’m certainly noticing it.

Can I reassert that with SARS-CoV-2 induced brain damage, it won’t be a lessening of intellect that you’ll be seeing first, but behavioural changes such as disinhibition, emotional lability, risk taking & impulsivity. Frontal lobe damage impairs behavioural regulation.

@JamesThrot I think I’m noticing this in a couple people I know, but instead it’s almost like a giddiness or slight euphoria, like a “oh everything is just dandy!!” in people who normally aren’t like that. It’s odd.

@JamesThrot I am no scientist so I can't really have an opinion, but, my experience has shown me that my anti-vaxx friends who had multiple bouts with covid are now struggling to make a complete sentence

Well, you might ask surely we’d be seeing the impacts of this already? Which cohort of people are infected most often? School children you say? Frontal lobe damage would cause an uptick in aggressive and violent behaviour. But are we seeing any of that? Why yes, we are… ⬇️

Oh I also mustn’t forget good old hypomania rearing its head too… ⬇️ You guessed it, damage to the frontal lobe causes hypomania. SARS-CoV-2 brain damage is extraordinarily multifaceted. Far too much to cover even in a multitude of tweets.
James Throt MBBS, MD, PhD, FRCPath@JamesThrot

At some point, people will stop being surprised by the behaviours I’ve been incessantly tweeting that will happen across the population due to covid damaging the frontotemporal region of the brain. I sound like a broken record at this point. FT damage can cause hypomania.

This is not to say a lessening of intellect isn’t happening. It is. But it will be secondary to the above. Also note that damage to the frontal lobe causes people to have difficulty with reasoning, planning and organising. A short attention span is particularly common.

1/I can’t describe how angry I am reading this article(Tweet 2)⬇️ “Don’t worry about the kids” they said (based on no scientific evidence) “There’s more chance of children being hit by a bus than catching Sars2” Some even advocated mass infection in children for “herd immunity”

@psvbluemts And now the CDC are recommending two or more vaccinations a year. This shows how even if vaccines are available their protection is limited to a few months. We need clean air and CO2 monitors indoors.

The Australian government decided to move to a "vaccine only" COVID policy and leave everyone to protect themsalves as best they can. But then they failed to make vaccines readily available and worse still have removed the choice of Novavax for the many people who react badly to mRNA vaccines. If that's you, please sign this petition change.org/p/we-need-urge…

@psvbluemts The coalition COVID strategy, continued by Labor, of vaccine only/economy first/don't mention the word COVID/ hide the data is working. Public Heath is not about protecting the public but has become all about protecting the politician.

The vet just called & my stomach dropped to my feet. My cat has an “immune-mediated” mystery disease. He has regenerative anemia, & she suspects he could have *MYCOPLASMA* (are you fucking kidding me?). She is calling vet friends around the country trying to get answers. I’m taking him back in this afternoon. It’s the worst feeling in the world to watch yourself, your kids, your pets, & your parents succumb to a long list of mystery immune diseases. I don’t think my canary-in-the-coal mine cat is going to make it. His brother died 9 months ago, presumably of something similar. Our animals have been getting Covid right along with us since 2020. We have a family member (not part of the tern household) who avoided covid infection for three years until they were infected during a routine medical procedure. Within one month of the infection, they had their first stroke. There should be universal masking in healthcare.
