@Ethernacht Exactly. There’s nothing wrong with using an “overrated” word. I think people just start looking at the word differently once too many people use it, padahal kalau dipikir-pikir tetap a fun word to say.
English

@Beanighted People said using the word whimsy is a sign of low cognitive function at some point. Tapi... nggak juga ah. Padahal seru banget pake kata overrated satu itu.
English

@Fervouir | The King Warden, baru selesai beberapa jam lalu. Kamu?
Mahari.@Fervouir
@muncorner Hi. May I know the last movie have you watched?
Indonesia

@Sinposia | Both are fine for me. Even if I get spoiled, I think my reaction would still be different once I actually watch it. What about you?
ֺ@Sinposia
@muncorner Are you okay with spoilers, or do you prefer going into things blind?
English

@Ethernacht Oh, you’re right. Since you mentioned it, I just realized “whimsy” really does keep showing up everywhere hahaha. Tadinya aku gak notice hal itu.
English

@Beanighted It's just that the word keeps popping up everywhere online (and now it's basically everywhere in people's convos, including us!).
English

@Ethernacht I think I just graduated from whimsical sadness to professional yearning at this point. Past Lives really looked me in the eye and said “suffering builds character” and apparently I agreed. Anw, what have you been watching lately? Also, mind if I follow you?
English

@Beanighted So, you left the first one for a film where two people just miss each other (respectfully) for two hours? That's… wild. Should I be worried you've developed a taste for emotional suffering, or is this just your way of coping with sadness, Seven?
English

@Ethernacht | Hi, Everest. I read your Tumblr and saw you mentioned The Grand Budapest Hotelc that used to be my comfort movie too, haha. Funny how things change though, lately I’ve found myself leaning more toward Past Lives.
Everest@Ethernacht
@muncorner Fellow movies rewatcher! TMI, I often drift back to stories I've already lived through on screen, knowing they'll still feel good the second (or more) time around. Do you have a comfort movie?
English

@sleepingfondly | One for the story, two for the lines, I don’t mind slow if the company’s nice. So tell me, what movie made you pause halfway just to stare at the ceiling for a minute?
Mary-Janey@sleepingfondly
@muncorner One for the money, two for the show, I too watch movie (….s) but I’m incredibly slow! Care for a little rhyme time?
